TechCon is hosted and sponsored by two associations devoted to providing professional development around technology and education in Illinois. These associations offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of their individual membership while focusing on the power of technology in society.

Illinois ASBO is devoted to the school business management profession and strives to promote the standards of school business administration through a multitude of benefits for every member. The association provides services to foster professional development, leadership skills and attempts to improve the quality of educational programs and services. Staff expertise, members and volunteers promote the highest standard of school business administration and take pride in providing members with a comprehensive guide to the most reliable companies, services and products for schools throughout Illinois.
Illinois ASBO finds it a privilege to participate in the creation of this event. Drawing experience from collaboration rooted in a professional development committee dedicated to the role of technology; they feel confident that a conference dedicated to these educational tools is necessary for the state of Illinois.

ILCTO was formally organized in 2007 and recognized as a charitable organization by the IRS in 2008. ILCTO was formed to address professional and leadership development for technology leaders in Illinois K-12 educational organizations. The group meets throughout the year and virtually to consider technology issues as they affect schools across the state. Membership in ILCTO is open to school district technology leaders from public and private K-12institutions. Learn more about ILCTO at our Web site.
ILCTO has a three-phase purpose
Leadership Development – Engage in programs and activities that improve the capabilities of school CTOs/CIOs to ensure that instructional technology and operational technology have a direct and positive impact on the missions of educational agencies.
Emerging Trends – Monitor emerging technology trends and provide a framework to help school CTOs/CIOs make decisions about technology implementations.
Collaboration and Advocacy – Form collaborative relationships with other organizations to work on common goals.
ILCTO is an eager participant in Techcon to help develop collaborative leadership with our colleague IASBO. Join us in our sessions and speak with our members.
